About the Author
Emmaline Hoffmeister is a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ, a covenant-keeping woman of faith, and a writer who delights in bringing light to everyday moments. With a deep love for scripture and a heart anchored in the gospel of Jesus Christ, she writes to inspire reflection, peace, and personal connection with the Savior.
Her devotional work is rooted in the belief that spiritual strength is built daily, that holiness is found not only in quiet reverence, but in laundry rooms, traffic jams, and every act of love and obedience. Each word she writes is prayerfully crafted to uplift, encourage, and draw others closer to Christ.
After years of writing award-winning fiction, this volume marks Emmaline’s tenth published book and her first devotional book. It is a deeply personal offering, born of study, prayer, and her own desire to walk more closely with the Lord. She considers it both a labor of love and an act of discipleship. Emmaline enjoys helping others recognize the Lord’s hand in their own lives. She believes in miracles, lives by grace, and seeks the Spirit in all things.
Emmaline holds degrees in accounting and psychology from Central Washington University and Brigham Young University–Idaho. She spent 12 years working as a fraud investigator and as an accountability, legal compliance, financial, and performance auditor before choosing to become a stay-at-home mom. She launched her writing and publishing career in 2009, writing in the Regency Romance genre. Her latest Christian fiction novel, Left Behind, received the Eternal Perspective Christian Literary Award from the Northwest Faith & Fiction Award Committee.
A lover of story, structure, and scenic places, Emmaline’s creativity is shaped by her travels and by the rugged beauty of the many places where she has lived with her husband and two (now grown) sons.
